Was reading this article and discussing it with a friend and we thought that this is more likely the direction in which technology will advance, which to us doesn’t seem very cyberpunk but we couldn’t think of how it would be classified. The thought is that we won’t see flying cars or cyborgs or any of your usual tech that the Cyberpunk genre says will have but instead things like exoskeleton frames that we can mount guns, like you’ll still go to war with a simple M4 and a sidearm but with enhanced movement ability. We were thinking good examples of this modern-advanced tech would be like Black Ops 2 or Edge of Tomorrow.
But I wanna know your guys’ opinions on this kinda thing.
