Had this happen to me, while full health, a dog jumped right in front of my ATV and I died 🙁

Also to those saying it was low on health, I thought the ATV would light on fire first like with the other vehicles and warn me that it’s about to explode… I was wrong.

the atv does this in any zone. it balances it being the fastest most maneuverable vehicle
Every vehicle has a hp pool. ATVs are lowest. I believe happens if any vehicle is overkilled in any zone. Kinda rare as zombies would have to be lined up while the vehicle is low enough that it doesn’t get a chance to warn you that it’s critical damage.

Already low health, but also the higher the tier zombie, the more it fucks yo your vehicle. That’s why vehicles unless you use them right, are not a strat in t3
I stopped using them after I passed a Merc camp and got 1 shot by a rocket launcher
