Yes you need the original progressive in order to use the chroma
Yes you have to get the original skin to use this skin which is really dumb. You can however go into the skins and unlock it to scrap it in the hideout for 5 scamatics. It took me forever to figure out how to scrap my purple bunny patrol recolor but it was worth a new level on my demon ace.
