Hey I’m looking to upgrade my monitor. I have a 34″ ultrawide now and I’m looking to get either a 42″ 4k OLED or something like the Samsung Odyssey 49″ (essentially 2 27″ monitors side by side built into one panel). This is with a 70″ wide autonomous sit stand desk so there wouldn’t really be a good way to move the tower off the desk. The kef q150 speakers are pretty large for desktop speakers so I’d need to get those out of the way.
Any thoughts on how to arrange? I think best solution would be speaker stands that can clamp onto the desk and add some height to clear the tower if anyone knows something that would work. Would need to be pretty strong as the speakers are fairly heavy. Thanks

Speaker stands
Get a hydraulic monitor arm
PC Tower bracket mounted on the underside of the desktop
Get those speakers up off the desk with some decent stands or arms. Use a monitor arm on the new monitor you buy. Work on cable management so that it feels less claustrophobic. Doing those will free up a lot of real estate on the desk itself and let you put things under the monitor or speakers.
If you’re open to it, put that desktop on the floor under or beside your desk, you can raise it off the carpet with a simple piece of wood. Doing this will free up the greatest amount of space. You can put the desktop on the left underside if it does not not fit beside your desk (I know it hides the internals of your case but it frees up leg space).
Best of luck!
Whats tht wallpaper? Love!
Yo idk but that wallpaper giving The Long Dark vibes and I’m into it
Can you move the desk away from the bay window and mount the speakers on a wall?
love the speakers, what do you use to power them?
Celing mount the speakers or swap them out for a good headset.
Good luck with a new larger monitor. FYI I just bought a 48′ LG OLED monitor and while it is gorgeous in 4K gaming it’s too big! I have a big desk but it was causing major eye strain and brain ache after two hour sessions. I am going to return it and get the Alienware 34″ WQHD Curved instead.
Get those speakers off the desk.
Get a nice monitor arm.
Computer on the floor, if you get a plank of wood you don’t need to worry about blocking the exhaust
Cable ties.
Speaker stand.
Are you using a monitor stand?
Do you really need those massive speakers?
