As long as Nvidia keeps supporting their game ready drivers they’ll live long.

lol last week I got a real deal on a used 1080ti on ebay, Then relized I didn’t have anything worthy to put it in. So a whole new systmem is now on the way for it.

1080ti was an absolute beast. Really regret buying a 1070 back in 2016. But who could have guessed that 80 tier cards would end up costing $1200+ in just a few years? Not me…

A thing that always amazed me is that nVidia decided to support old cards for so long. They are really moneyhungry, so I would think they would stop supporting the 1000 series, the most popular series, so that people would be forced to buy RTX 3000 or 4000.

My 1070 is finally becoming low end
(full low upscaling on max: Dead Space Remake mostly 60-80fps but sometimes 40fps, same for Robocop and The Talos Principle 2)

I’d probably still use my 1070 if it wasn’t for a very good deal on a used 3060 and the inflated prices so I was able to sell it for as much as I bought it. Then another deal came around and I switched to 6700 XT. I had to pay little extra as I sold the 3060 for more than I paid for it and the XT was underpriced as well.

Installed a 1070 into my boys machine. Not the best but a solid card for Minecraft etc at 1080p.

My 1080 Ti is still going strong. I’m at the point where replacing it with a current gen equivalent will require a complete system replacement, but since I mostly play games like Factorio and Stardew Valley these days, it’ll likely still be going strong for a few more years.
