How can I get 2 8pin connectors out of an 8pin and a 6pin

Is there some sort of adapter for this? How can I get this card goin with this PSU. It’s a 750w psu

    You don’t, you use 2 8 pin PCIe connectors.

    I would recommend a different cable. Using an adapter runs the risk of drawing too much power through the 6 pin connector. 6 pins are rated for around 75 watts, 8 pins around 150 watts.

    You… Don’t.. was this a genuine question? If your power supply isn’t modular you need a new one to accommodate your new GPU.

    You can’t you have to get a new power supply or different connectors from the manufacturer

    The PCIE cable that has 6+2 can be put together to make it an 8pin connector. You have 2 8 pin connectors if you do this.

    Conservation of mass makes it impossible to create two 8 pins from one 8 pin and a 6 pin. Sorry.

    2. Plug it in alongside your 8 pin cable

    3. Ignore the 6 pin connector

    Hey uh you need two 8 pin cords plugged into the psu. Thats not the right kind of connector.

    Use the 6+2 and the 8. It’s like that in case you don’t need 8 and need 6. Not sure why everyone is getting all weird like they were innately born with PC knowledge.

    There is a 6pin to 8pin PCIE adapter. I used one on an older Seasonic 600watt PSU to power a R7 1700 and a 5600xt that needed a 8pin.

    You have a 6+2 that’s 8. It’s just 6+2 incase you don’t need a an 8 and only need a 6. Put the 2 next to it it will all go in and work.

    Sorry your getting torched OP, I didn’t know a 6+2 pin was ok either. But it’s how it’s done. Pretty likely you have a two pin cable tucked away somewhere. They sorta clip together.

    Everyone saying “you can’t” have obviously never checked what those 2 extra pins do.

    Just buy a 6 to 8 converter on Amazon.
