Polar bears and storms are just dumb, they add a randomness factor not needed at the highest levels of play. I don’t enjoy them in normal games, but I understand they serve a purpose there, especially for newer players, I really don’t think that’s true in Comp/esports games.
Gimmicky and unpredictable makes it a bad addition in my opinion (as well as the storms on miramar and vikendi)
I love polar bears so much, that I think similar mechanic should be introduced in regular sports. Lets say long jump – on the runway at random places a piano drops from the sky. If it drops ahead of you, you jump over, if it drops right on you – you are dead. How is it not a thing???
