That car flew by so fast it was as if Adam Smasher kicked it out of his way.
Reminds me of a close call at work. Was walking past the wood dumpster on a heavy wind day. Wind picked up some plywood lagging and tossed it over my head to slam into the ground a few feet in front of me. That means it flew over my head and barely missed me. If I had been walking faster, or anything that put me further ahead than I was, it would have smacked me in the back of the skull.
Also, for those who don’t know, lagging is the wrap around the reel of cable to keep it protected from damage and the elements. For plywood lagging, several pieces are used. All nailed to the reel in an overlapping pattern. This piece of lagging came off a reel that was about 8 feet tall and 5 feet wide.
