Uh, do you by chance mean and entire PC for $2k. Like, an overpriced PC you bought off FB Marketplace? One that doesn’t even have a GPU in it?
Because no card that was $2k within the last 5 is selling for $100 now.

On eBay the going price for a 3080 is about $400, good thing I didn’t have the money for them back when they were hella expensive lol
stinkcopter
Is what it is, spend your money where you spend your time. Would you rather have spent all that COVID shit and lockdowns playing on a bit of shit for 12 hours a day, I don’t think so.

I sold my 2060 on ebay for $1000 (CAD) in may 2021.
I’m still in shock that I sold a card that was a couple years old and one generation behind for a profit.

I’m so happy I sold my 5700XT I bought in April of 2020 and bought an RTX 2070 Super with what I sold the XT for about a year ago. I’m not running the latest specs, but I got something that can at least play games without the annoying coil whine of my old 5700xt

I bought a 3070Ti Vision for 809€ in May 2022…
Now I can get a 3090Ti for less…
zzcool

CobaltCam

Do you guys think a 3060 will still be good for years to come? Or will even a 1660 sure or 2060 be fine. I think my PSU of 350 can only handle up to 1660. So if I choose something better I will have to buy a psu as well.

jokes on you I still haven’t bought a rig because the pricing is still ridiculous for what you get
Rubfer
Well I don’t feel any pity for people who overpaid during that time, they are just as bad as the scalpers since by buying from them, they condoned scalping market.
I didn’t upgrade my 980ti for like 7-8 years (till i found a used 3090 some months ago that i paid 500€ lol) because fck scalpers and shops abusing the prices
grillinman
Spent so much on a 3070 ti that I’ve sworn to hold out until 6000 series at the earliest.
