Gaming monitor help

My son is asking for another gaming monitor for Christmas. We have it narrowed down to 2 choices. Can anyone help make up our mind.

1. XGaming 27” curved, 165hz, 2560×1440, QHD, ADM free sync. $144

2. MSI 32” curved, 170hz, 2560×1440, QHD, ADM free sync. $209

Current concerns: we aren’t familiar with XGaming (already owns a MSi 24 inch)

The 32” is a big jump from 24” and he’s concern games like Apex and Fortnite might not be good on a 32” monitor

Hello Sooch2020, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

I would fully say MSI. I have also not heard of XGaming, and when it comes to technology that’s not a good thing. You want a company that is reliable so you know they aren’t lying about specs , so you can get warranty support, etc

I have a similar MSI monitor. 1440p (QHD) at 144hz and 32inch curved monitor. I absolutely love it, I think the curve makes gaming more immersive. It does take a minute to get used to the curve, but I’ll never go back to flat monitors.
