What an awesome last few missions!
The tier 3 infested stronghold was a little difficult, but I beat it first try by spamming decoy grenades, running inside, shooting 3 cysts, running out and killing zombies, and repeating this cycle until completed. The stronghold I completed was bordering T3 and T2 and there was an ammo cache nearby which helped immensely.
The Aether Storm was probably the hardest challenge in Act 3 (aside from the Mercenary Warlord). Bullets don’t do a thing to the Stormcaller since he just replenishes his health. So here’s a little secret… the Aether Bike (motorcycle, whatever it’s called) is a 1 shot kill to the Stormcaller if you use the special ability.

I just unlocked the last mission last night but haven’t gave it a go. What weapon did you find works best? Was debating between by trusty pap’d AR, the meta crossbow, or a pap’d ray gun (haven’t used the ray gun yet so unsure on its ability)

I did it solo too. Hardest mission was the Stronghold. It was in the middle of nowhere in Tier 3, so no cover at all. Manglers, Mimics, Disciples, and a Megabomb all spawned and were running into the house, just a fucking mess. Ended up using Tesla storm to get the last few cysts with well placed shots.
How do you cleanse the exclusion zone on the final mission I beat Zakhaev but didn’t get the second part done?
I got lucky with the Destroy Aether nest in T3 zone becuz I found the BloodBurner bike. Used it to clear the mimic and disciple that were before doing the usual decoy grenade and stuff. It’s also how I killed stormcaller
