  1. In my personal experience my Logitech mouse can survive anything, the mouse is built well.

Anything but razer! NEVER buy razer products!

Personally, i have the Razer and love it, it comfortable and the extra buttions just make sense for the games I play. I have my second one now, the first was a victim of my dog wanting a chew toy, in terms of that, it doesnt perform well 🙂

a bit biased towards the g502 because more buttons

I bought a single Razer product once.

Installed their shitty software and my Warzone FPS went from 100 to 5.

It was magically fixed after i uninstalled their software.

    Never going with Razer again.

Logitech has better feel to it. Razer (had basilisk v3) was made out of what felt like cheap plastic and it took some tome to get used to. But that is the only flaw i would say about razer.

Logitech on the other hand.. has a very, very crappy software. Last time i tried to install it, i had some serious trouble to get it working.. it just kept loading looping no matter what i did. And if you made any changes in the software to you mouse, the program had to be running. If you closed it, the mouse would return to its factory setting.

So with logitech i highly recomend just instaling software to just edit internal memory settings. If you do that, you don’t need to have any software running.

Razer has a cleaner look. Not much else

I have owned both simultaneously, personally the G502 fit a lot better in my hand but my Fiancée felt the Basilisk fit her hand better so if your hands are larger I would say G502 smaller go Basilisk. That’s from my experience in terms of buttons and feel I felt they were pretty similar I think it is like a one programable button difference. Sensor wise the difference I would be negligible to me.

I have tried a different razor mouse and didn’t like it, but I currently use the Logitech. I’m real big on using the mouse buttons in games so I like more buttons, and I like being able to add or remove weight with the Logitech mouse. I don’t know if the Razor mouse has that or not. The only thing I don’t love about the Logitech mouse is that it doesn’t have a “shake awake” feature like my razor mouse did so if I forget to turn it off or plug it in when I’m done I’ll come back to a dead mouse.

    razer is hot trash.

    logitech all the way

  11. I have both. Logitech has 2 extra buttons, adjustable weights and scroll wheel switching is mechanical controlled while the Razor is software controlled. Aside from that they feel the same.

Whether you have Logitech or Razor keyboard or other accessories may play a part, as it would mean one less software running in the background.

In a vacuum I would pick the Logitech.

Logitech hardware is amazing, the software is pure garbage.

I’ve used a basilisk pro for about 2 years now and I have had connection issues here and there. Overall good but I wouldn’t buy it again and would go with Logitech when this mouse finally gives out.

  14. Razer products are garbo

All the ones i have tried fail really quickly

    Logitech is really reliable

i had a basilisk x hyperspeed, the problem with razer mouse is quality. mine was not getting recognized by their software most of the time, the scroll wheel encoder broke easily which is awful. its a good mouse if you’re basing on sensor/clickers, but the quality is shit especially on the rubber grip, it deteriorate easily if you have a warm&hard grip of the mouse.

I was using razer mouses for RL long time, had one on the image+Naga Trinity and some basic one don’t remember the name. All broke after 2-6 months. Always scroll wheel was the first victim even if I don’t use it often then one of the keys rmb or lmb. Never razer again.

I have both. The Logitech is much nicer in my opinion. The razer feels very cheap in comparison. No weight to it. I’ve also had major connectivity issues when using on Bluetooth.

I never realized how polarizing this shit is, some people act like razer killed their families and others like Logitech took their newborn.

I’ve used both, although I probably haven’t used the Logitech one to really judge it. They felt very similar, I’ve been using the razer bsk v3 pro since it came out and before then the wired version and I’ve never had an issue, very comfortable and accessible buttons, the scroll wheel hyper speed is cool (more of a fidget thing than actually useful), and the battery lasts forever (assuming you get wireless). Both have very high end sensors so performance really isn’t an issue, I also haven’t had any of the PC performance impact of the razer software that people are talking about and I rarely EVER have to even launch it unless I’m making a macro, but I also have a pretty high-end PC so maybe it unevenly impacts lower end processors compared to Logitech, I kinda doubt it but that’s anecdotal. Odds are you’ll be happy with either tbh

  19. Got both logitech wins easily and has better software

  20. TKentgens93

    Logitech all the way

Bought 3 razor items all broke within 6 months

  21. Logitech got better mouse. Razor got better keyboard. Logitech got better headset.

  22. gold-magikarp

I have the basilisk. Please don’t buy the basilisk.

  23. Both are fine. I’ve used my friends Logitech mouse, and it was perfectly fine. I own the Razor mouse and it works great. I never downloaded the software, so I can’t speak for how bad it is. Had the basilisk for about 1.5 years now. Zero issues

  24. BlarghBlech

Ok between those two Logitech is my favourite. I bought Basilisk because i thought i need a big mouse for my big palm – well i was wrong. They look the same size, but Logitech is narrower and fits a palm better. Basilisk is just too big.

I had two razer mice start double clicking after 4 months. I have had two 502s in the last 11ish years. The first one I had for 5 years before I replaced it and the one I have now (6 years) has no issues besides a sticky mousewheel.

  26. wittylotus828

I’ve had the same Logitech G502 for 5 years.

The razor keyboard I got at the same time died.

If you are looking at an investment go logitech

  27. Every single razor product I’ve owned never last even a single year.

My logitech that didn’t last a year i called in and got a replacement with no issues. Which was a wireless headset, after the second replacement i asked for a wired set and no charge even after a year and half after purchase.

I still have a still have a mouse m502 that had a ps/2 port that lasted 10yrs. I only stopped using it because I upgraded the motherboard that no longer uses that port type.

For the last 5yrs ive been using the MMO gaming mouse for 35$..

  28. Hybective

I’ve had both and honestly can’t go wrong with either, just buy what’s in your budget!
