Now this is what I call a proper display. 65″ on a desk.

    it’s very nice.
But there’s no way you can use that keyboard that close.

  2. I remember using my 49in tv as a monitor for a weeks while I was waiting for my actually monitor to get repaired. It’s hella cool at first but after awhile it got difficult to use. Felt like I was straining my damn neck half the time lol. IDK how you can do 65, but have fun 😅

I’m sure Warhammer would be fun on that lol

Get a real monitor, mount your TV in view of your couch and run an hdmi from you pc to the TV. This doesn’t look like a good setup for anything.

If it was a “temporary” measure, why is all the hardware set up around the tv, like it was intentionally placed?

Were you really planning on keeping the setup until you read the responses?

32 inch 4k is the absolute biggest I am willing to go for desktop use. I do have an LG C2 OLED TV for couch gaming. But I could never use that for desktop. Even the smallest 42″ TV is already way too big for everyday desktop usage imo.

i did this for a few years and i never should have, back to normalcy now and it feels good

Lmao me reading this while watching a movie on my 17″ tv on the other side of my room.

What would be a comfortable viewing distance for a 65″ tv though?

  9. Im surprised so many people have taken my post so negatively. This was only a temporary measure as there was work being done in my livingroom. This TV was £2000 at the time and I wanted to protect it. The only reasonable place to keep it safe was on my desk.

I posted this because it looks stupid. Now there are comments claiming, “I have changed my mind because people say it’s bad, and I was actually planning to keep it this way.”

    This isn’t a conspiracy.

In reality, I have two monitors on my desk. The AW3420DW and the AW3423DWF.

So downvote me all you like.
