I have *this exact thought* every single time a Microcenter sales rep asks if they can help me.

I still remember walking into a PC store that carried enthusiast PC parts.
I had fried my evga 780i mobo. So I walk in and asked if they had any evga motherboards.
Guy behind counter answered with a smart smirk. Evga doesn’t make motherboards only video cards.
Gave him a dead pan look and just walked right out.

In most cases this is spot on, but the guys at my local Microcenter are actually extremely knowledgeable and have been there for years. We all know specs, but they know which parts get RMA’d the most and what’s worth your money. Guess it depends on your store.
