Need help. Installed an 12900k in my gigabyte z790 board. This is what it has. I’m only use plugging In 4×2 single connector. Do I need both to efficiently run my 12900k.

If you are planning to overclock, then yes.
Install ur jigglers.
Power limits prolly BIOS tho. Maybe both. Intelligent gigabyte. Self aware. AI America. Vote Bush in 04
A real hardware limit wouldn’t warm you. It would crash, blue screen, or reset.
You’re not likely to experience this since you’re still out there googling cat videos and “how do I install afterburner on my m.2 coffee pot”
