Did this go through the hadron collider?

Battery detonation. See if you can get the hard drive and bin the rest.

Nonsense aside, to anyone who has had a computer fall and break and not reboot, it’s possible the hard drive is still able to be accessed. First thing to do if this happens is to test the hard drive with a separate pc, see if the separate PC can see the hard drive as an external hard drive, and if the data is there.

If so, you have options, including buying the exact duplicate computer that broke, and simply replacing the hard drive.

You can fix it to another object but you’re not going to repair it lol.

  9. All it needs is a simple restart and you are good to go

i mean, if the motherboard isn’t damage, it might work with a new case

Screen seems fine, hdd looks like it, cable poets. Battery? Questionable without proper cord. Still may be good honestly.

    If not, disassemble.

    Edit. Check proper screws.

If the motherboard is fine, everything else like the shell, the screen, keyboard can all be replaced. But is it worth the money & effort to replace all those parts is a completely different question.

  13. In all seriousness this looks intentional the way the bottom of the laptop isn’t bent.

It looks like everything but the outer shell is reusable

Ahh don’t worry didn’t see the joke part haha

  14. motherboard and screen? sure

keyboard and track pad? fuck no.

Just some duct tape and it’ll be good as new 😀 /s

Yeah… you’re better off buying a whole new laptop. The cost to repair might exceed the purchase price.

How did the display survive that “tumble” without any noticeable damage and/or becoming curved?
