Might be an exam in 2023, but it’s a quiz from 2015 IoI

  2. Even if it *were* Win11, I don’t know that true is exactly true. Popular is a very subjective thing.

    Bruh clean your screen.
I thought the hair was on my phone.

  4. sightstrikes

I remember reading that Quad core cpus are top of the line in my 2020 textbook

Is this course Desktop Computing 101?

  6. DumbGuy5005

Question 35 is of course wrong, as Win 10 isn’t the newest. But Question 36 seems like it has such an obvious answer. Doesn’t seem like a college level question idk.

I love how you’re actually using Windows 11 while doing this stupid questionaire.

“Too many windows can become difficult to use an amange” is this a test for common sense?

  9. RedRayTrue

It must be more popular than windows 11 because of busy people like me(I just don’t have time to install it, and I use a laptop from 2018, so it’s not worth) or people who just don’t know or want to install windows 11 on an older laptop

So maybe it’s the most ”popular” but it isn’t the newest for sure

    somebody, clean that screen….

  11. Ok_Biscotti_514

Haha i see so your university uses Canvas aswell

  12. KentishishTown

And this is why we filter our education for new hires.

A lot of these questionnaires are dated.

Remember while getting my masters degree that in a science book Pluto was still a planet. This was five years ago.

Pluto hasnt been considered a planet and became a “dwarf planet” since 2006.

So my book was over 15 years old..

  14. PeterMcPhile

This is more of a middle school quiz by the looks of those two questions

  15. PassTheSaltAndPepper

Ok so what degree is this even going for cause those questions don’t really seem university level to me

  16. Vinstaal0

When I was deleting Facebook it thought I was on Windows 10 … I am on Windows 11

  17. gbushprogs

Don’t worry about question 35. Question 36 has the same value and I’m sure that question gives much more confidence in the true value of your degree!

Is THIS the level of questioning in college? Apart from the wrong answer, this still sounds like lower level of highschool material

  19. Mikhael_Xiazuh

This is why we have interviews so we filter out the schoolkids who want a mad salary while knowing nothing at all.

  20. You’ll be fine. My OS prof talked about dual and quad core cpus and multithreading in a lecture and i resisted the urge to point out that we now have 24 core consumer cpus and 64 core server cpus

  21. GeovaunnaMD

Technical windows 11 is windows 10

Kernel version is still 10.0 so kinda a trick question.

  22. JohnHenryEden77

    It’s funnier that’s it’s running on 11

  23. We have a programming languages course and it uses a book by Robert Sebesta. The quiz was so bad it makes me wonder if I didn’t study enough as some items were shuffled around or were barely mentioned in the reference material.
