Still long live the GTX 750 Ti though!

Rx580 uses a lot of power 200w, so make sure you have the power connectors it requires and enough PSU wattage. A 6700xt uses less power.

You poor man, but you have to do the best with what you have.

I had a GTX 650 and got the RX580 some years ago to play Cyberpunk.

You’ll like this card, it’s still very capable!

  4. Got mine like a month ago until I can start getting the components for the 1440p build I want, the card is a beast and can hold a lot of games pretty well

im still running my rx 580 8gb. i hope it doesn’t die 🙁

  6. Be mindful that the 580 is set to stop receiving driver updates very soon, meaning newer titles may not play nice with it anymore. Hopefully AMD comes out with a reasonably-priced replacement for it.

  7. I hope you got a good deal, because it’s like 99% chance it’s been mined on for 2-6 years.

  8. If it me personally, I’d go without a gpu to try to upgrade to something better at least a 2060 or 3050

Why not an RX 6600? Driver support is ending soon for the 500 series.

Enjoy! I have a friend who runs a 2670v3 with it and it’s a budget beast

As a fellow owner of the rx 580 gpu, you’ve gotten an amazing upgrade, happy gaming

I really hope that one day they make a Gpu as cheap, good and reliable as the 750 Ti…

The RX 580 is not the best replacement, but i understand if that is what you could get with your current money.

Yo, I have a 1660 gathering dust if you want it.

  14. Good card especially 8gb version. Use to play VR on it with slightly low graphic, Phasmophobia, Assetto Corsa, Beat Saber…i bet the 8gb version can handle it better

  15. You could do better but an RX580 is really good.

Mines running been running since 2017, Decent FPS at a good price.

Mine is only taking 100w MAXIMUM and the fan RPM is 0 since it’s not running hot at all. And my FPS has been stable 60FPS. Good GPU.

Damn i did that same upgrade 4 years ago and regretted it..

Still running two 750ti (coupled with 3rd and 4th gen i7s) in my kids PCs. Works great still for most things they want to play. In the market for replacements but difficult to find something reasonably priced used or new here in Japan…. And TBH I’m hesitant to switch to Team Red.

I still have my RX 590X (essentially an overclocked from factory RX 580).
It’s the last piece that is left from my previous PC. It didn’t make sense to buy a GPU when my MoBo died 2 years ago, and generally don’t like to “throw” equipment that work fine.
I will either wait for it to die or maybe get an 7700XT or 7800XT and sell it. But I am afraid there won’t be any buyers cause it is old card. Do people buy them for mining? A friend told me it’s good for mining.

I still rocking a XFX 580 GTS 8gb. Serving great

Sure, it’s an old card as many people say. But going from a 750 Ti to a 580 is still a noticeable upgrade. I had my R7 260X die so I changed to an RX 470 4GB.

In some parts of the world it’s just not viable to get a 6000 series brand new card. Prices are inflated and not everyone has the money to spare for such a purchase. Lucky you if you can afford it, but not everyone can.
