The power supply seems to be too little. As I was going to suggest anyway, I’d recommend the cheaper build just with a bigger power supply. Maybe a 850 watt or a round 1000 but that isn’t necessary.
$1000 more is a lot to pay for what, occasionally 5FPS more? Unless you REALLY want to pay that much for better ray tracing performance. But at any resolution without RTX, it is petty much neck and neck as far as I am concerned. Save the grand. Or put it into more storage, it is most likely the first place you will run into limits. Games are frikken huge.
cheaper build easy. espacially for warzone 2. the 4090 is lika gonna net you 10 or something more fps and that is not worth 1k more imo

Why ddr4 and not 5?
If you’re spending $3,000 on a new rig then it should be on AM5 not AM4.
ie 7800X3D & DDR5.
Although the 5800x3d is still very capable, I wouldn’t recommend it for a new rig. Only for upgrading existing AM4 rigs to BIS cpu, as it’s now last gen and on a superseded platform.
For $2-3k you could do a build based on a 7800x3d & 7900XTX/4090 combo with DDR5 easily.
I have recently custom built one for myself with these exact specs.
IMO both of these prebuilts are overpriced and underspecced, in terms of performance per dollar.
(Also save yourself the $1,000 and use that money to buy yourself a 4k OLED like I did 😜👍)
These builds are a little outdated and I think for that money, you should go for current-gen stuff, not last gen Ryzen and DDR4. Also, the 2TB HDD will be almost unusable for gaming, and 512GB of SSD will barely hold anything.

Just from a price standpoint the only diff is the GPU if I’m right and the 1100$ is no the price diff from a 1000 xtx to the ~1650 4090 and yeah for warzone the amd will be better also if you really want the 4090 look for another build that has the pc set up properly and it would prolly be less
If u are only playing cod it’s definitely amd, and also go 7800x3d with ddr5 if possible and you’ll want more ssd storage over hdd
Even though I have never personally owned an AMD card and have enjoyed PC Gaming since the early 90’s when it was barely what you could call PC Gaming I would go the 7900XTX route. Again just my opinion to save the money wasted on the way overpriced RTX 4090, otherwise if you can wait for the next series from AMD and Nvidia. As incredible as RTX features and Ray/Path Tracing are the hardware isn’t there yet to get framerates that I prefer without voodoo and black magic (upscaling and artificial frames).
If you spend 2k on a pc, that’s not am5/ddr4, then I’m sorry, but you’re not very bright.

I was sure I’d recommend you the 4090 one when clicking on the title, but as I read you play just Warzone, then 7900xtx will be better for you.
4090 would be better if you wanted to play AAA games at max settings.
It’s a mismatch for the price. Should be am5 and 1100 more for a 4090 is insane. You could buy the 7900xtx and a 4080 or wait and get a used 4090 for that price difference
Op I just did a build with a 7900 xtx and a 7800x3d. It’s amazing. I used to be an nvidia fanboy but I don’t have a need for AI and the nvidia price tag that comes with it.

If you do high end video editing or really really really care about ray tracing and can afford the +$600. Then you could get 4090

Neither. Build your own with a 7800x3d and whichever graphics card you can afford. 4090 is obviously more expensive, but is also a good amount better.
Both are overpiced and i wouldn’t recomend the 5800X3D for a new build.

I do a ton of other stuff outside of gaming, and all of a sudden, the 3d not being out when I purchased my cpu doesn’t bother me as much. I have 7900x

Psu is a bit of a red flag.
Any kit that comes with a keyboard is likely overpriced.
Where is the best pace to buy a prebuilt online? I can’t really pick one up from a physical store as I live way out in the sticks.

I had a similar rig with the 5800x3D and 4090 it did not do so well together for warzone. I was getting about 157 fps on med to high setting for 1440p with some settings turned off. When i switched to 7800x3D the performance was way better i had high settings turned up and was getting about 235 fps. Other then that the 5800x3D gets the same average on most games
If you plan on ever playing VR, don’t get AMD GPU. Get NVIDIA
Honestly the most annoying part in this to me is the memory/storage paragraph.
In a 2k$ system, an HDD is just them making fun of you. They are using a combo that I bought in a 1200€ build 5 years ago. Today it should just be a 2TB nvme gen4 SSD. And the memory is also not optimal either, because it’s known that AMD specifically takes advantage of faster ram speeds, and with ram prices being as cheap as they are, there is no reason why they should go with 3200mhz when 3600mhz costs pretty much the same. It’s just them actively throwing away performance.
If you’d spec a [similar build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6sqmxH) on your own, it comes out around 1850$ as well but with better storage, memory and likely also a better cooler, case and PSU. If you add another 200$, you can also upgrade to a 7800x3d to get AM5 and DDR5-6400 CL32. Obviously this would require you to build it yourself. While that’s not super hard, it’s totally understandable if you don’t want to do that.
Generally I’d just look for a prebuild that at least doesn’t try to scam you on the storage they’re using :/
yeah i wouldn’t buy neither if those… that wattage on the PSU is pretty low in my opinion for those powerful GPUS
If you are going to spend big (which I have no issue with) you should get the latest and greatest, am5 will allow you to upgrade the cpu in a few years and keep your ram and mobo, so it might actually save you money given how prices just keep increasing,
There is a noticeable difference in performance between a 5800x3d and 7800x3d in some games.
And as for the gpu, I do not like nvidiaad business practices one bit, but a 4090 is Just a beast, and the dlss tech and frame gen is just better than what amd has, they are a generation ahead of amd. So I’d say if you are going 40 series, the 90 is the one to get, but only the FE model, as it’s the cheapest, smallest and objectively best looking card.
Yes I know people will say 1500 is not cheap and yea it’s not, but it’s significantly faster than a 4080 and has way more vram, and isn’t much more expensive than it. Now if you can’t afford rent, of course don’t buy a 1500 €$£ gpu, but if you can afford a 4080, you can afford a 4090
I wouldn’t use Hard disk drives for anything other than files or backups, SSDs are much better and faster for programs/gaming, at this price point you shouldn’t expect a HDD over a SSD
