Can I pull this drive off and install it in my motherboards m.2 slot?

  1. If that is an M key interface I’d think so, yes.

Can you pull the drive from the board and take a pic of the drive interface?

Be careful with the opening mechanism

As long as the slot supports Sata M.2 drives (guessing based on keying), yes

Back up any data on it before you remove it. If that enclosure supports encryption it may be done in on one of the adapters chips. It’s also unclear where the 5v to 3.3v converter is .It very well may work but just be prepared for the worst case scenario. I have seen instances where such a thing wouldn’t work, but 9 out of ten times external drives have worked internally.

Its SATA m.2 it will work only if your slot on mobo support sata. How to know if drive is sata or pcie? Usually sata have 2 notches on the connector and pcie just one.
