I have 16 gb, should I pretty much turn everything off my PC except Karhu and set “megabytes” to 16318? or only 80% is fine?
How about threads? I would assume its 12 fir 8700k?
Do you guys go to advance and touch the cpu cache, rng or leave to default? How about the “Stress FPU” leave it unchecked??

Keep everything at default, and adjust the memory used to just below the max. Once you start it, Windows should immediately free up some additional RAM. Using 12 threads is fine on 8700k with HT enabled.
I’d recommend stop on error, so you can see what time the error occurred – Important for late errors.
