Man this view of the city you see for like half a second at the beginning, the feeling of size and scope of it all. What a world they’ve created even after 3 years it still blows my mind

My favorite part of this is that you don’t just go “out of bounds” and die like you would in most games. You aren’t in a separate, pretend instance of the city, made just this rooftop area. The outside area isn’t just a simulated background space to trick you, because you’re actually ON that roof and still in the NC “overworld”. You’re exactly where you’d be if you had just climbed up there yourself on a whim, and so even after falling out of “bounds” for this mission, you still don’t die until you actually hit the street and have all that time to fall, thinking about your mistakes. Lmao
They really created an amazing world with NC and the RED engine really is impressive.
