Knew it was a money grab (Apple like) but I was hoping these devices would get caught up in that.

yeah unfortunately XIM caters to those with disabilities and have claimed such for awhile. kinda cute tactic to allow cheating đ
Microsoft should just buy the company that makes Xim and manufacture them to their standards. Your console will only be approved to use the device if you have an ADA membership
Unfortunately they never said it was going to get rid of xim, zen or strike packs. They were just assumptions that were made by the community
I was optimistic as well but I knew a company as greedy as Microsoft couldnât possibly be trying to actually protect their consumers. Just another money grab.
I like how that article suggests that Microsoft possibly canât detect third party devices. Thatâs fucking laughable. So the same company that has leading research in machine learning and artificial intelligence doesnât have a way to pick up false inputs on a controller that are faster than human reaction time?
So to save anyone that doesnât have time to read, Microsoft wants you to buy a Microsoft controller. Fuck people with disabilities that need certain accessories to be able to do the one hobby they are able to enjoy. Honestly it would not surprise me if one or more Microsoft executives have stock in the companyâs that make those devices (or theyâre funded by Microsoft one way or another, maybe thats tin foil hatish, but crazier shit has happened)
I posted clips yesterday and the first comment was âI canât wait for nov 12â I was legitimately hoping they would ban those devices so I could post a clip of me spraying a beryl just to hurt that little guys feelings.
