Long story short I ordered a used Sapphire Nitro RX580 8GB. The seller said oops the listed price is wrong, we’ll send a different one. I asked which one and they never replied.
I received a Biostar unknown graphics card, the sticker says 11GB GDDR6. The box says RTX 2060 Super. I called the seller and they confirmed it is indeed an RX580 8GB (?)
So I have no way of actually testing this out since my RAM and PSU haven’t arrived. Plus my PSU might not even be able to handle the card and maybe blow up or something.
Can someone help me make an educated guess and what’s the risk of things blowing up because my PSU doesn’t have enough power?

Sounds like a bait and switch scam.
It’s an RX 580.
It’s not a 2080ti because i’ve had two and that pcb does not have 12 spots/traces for vram slots. (2080ti pcb has 12 vram spots but only utilize 11). Also, that’s far too short to be a 2080 ti and there’s definite lack of vrm traces.

The sticker that’s been tacked onto the gpu that OP pictured is incorrect. Hopefully they aren’t trying to scam folks by charging 2080 ti prices for an RX 580.

As people noted, the label points to a 2080 TI (good)… but on the other hand it looks like it has a DVI port in the last picture. That alone doesn’t seem right for a supposed 2080 TI. Can you confirm?
Also Biostar + 2080ti doesn’t have any results on google. I get some releases are pure mining and so on, but come on? It’s like they never released such a card, ever.

Plug it in and see what GPU-Z tells you.
CPU Z can be tricked. If you want to go all in just remove the heatsink and read what puts on the die. Keep in mind you will have to repaste/repad the card, but that’s the way of knowing for sure. Else just slap it on your pc and check with some games, I highly doubt you got a 2080.
Benchmark it, that’s the easiest way to tell
those specs point to a 2080ti there were only the 1080ti and 2080ti that had 11gb vram from what i am aware (at least mainstream). i could be a 2080ti with another cooler slapped on it perhapes?
but looking at the pictures it looks exactly like a rx580 biostar gpu. so my guess is they put a wrong sticker on that card.
you def got scammed but the rx580 sucks and the 2060 is a big improvement, id just wait and do some benchmarking and hope the thing fires up
Its not a 1650 super because the power modules in the wrong place.
It matches with RX 560 4GB from biostar, but is missing alot of components.
Chances are its an RX 580 8GB.
Label makes no sense and is completely wrong, also an odd placement for the label.
What has happened here is, someone purchased an RTX 2060 12gb, removed the sticker and placed on there old GPU, and then put it inside the new RTX 2060 box. (Bait and Switch Refund scam)

Is it confirmed that it has 11 gb of VRAM? The only card I know with 11 gb is a 1080 ti and it did have dvi on some models, plug it into a PC and see what gives. But that card was gddr5x. That is some scam card you found, but the fun is figuring out what you bought, if you didn’t pay much then it could be worth anyway

Best bet is to remove the cooler to see what the gpu die says. That’s if you have extra thermal paste though
