This was the computer that was advertised in every gaming magazine back then. I wanted one so bad and remember drooling over the specs and all the gear you get. My dad and I always built our own PCs back then and usually kept up with the tech. But these were on another level.

Damn. I remember the days when I pestered my mother to buy me a 16x CD-RW. Once I had it, I made money burning MP3s using Nero.
Nothing really has changed. $3500 got you top quality then and will get you top quality today.

That computer rocks. My first computer was x386, 4MB RAM (note that is MB, not GB), 250MB HDD, 5.25″ floppy drive.
And later, I splurged and got a Soundblaster, so I can at least have audio, not just beeps.
