Not my first build at all but last time was in 2012. Upgrading from a 4470k (oc’d to 4.7) and 1080ti. Should have lots of gains and happy to join the world of dlss! Excited to see how a legit pair of 64gb ddr5 crushes 32gb mixed sketchy ddr3, definitely will be more stable.

Going from a 1080 Ti to a 4080 is going to feel incredible. I went from a 2070 Super to a 4090 and it felt like I stepped into the future.
I should be building mine in another month or so. It’s been almost 15 years since I built my last one (survived on a pre-built and then a laptop for the longest time).

I don’t think the ram will be the upgrade you will notice the most ! enjoy
