I am really happy with how the x14 lowpoly turned out last spring. But now that I’ve had half a year on it there’s a few things I want to improve. So I’m building an entirely new bike from the frame up.
• larger 72v motor for power up hills and at stop lights.
• full closure canopy so I can ride in rain without getting moist.
• recumbent seat with better aerodynamics.
• front and rear cameras with a 7″ screen mounted above the steering yoke.
• electronic lock and full color Speedo operated by gps satellite pings.
• trailer will have solar panels and a fold out camper bed for bike camping.
• 200w sound system
• LED ic dual wide light strip going across the sides for improved vis.
• for stopping and kicking, it will have an electronic actuator at the back with 3″stability wheels that lower and raise from the yoke, so the recumbent doesn’t tip over at slow speeds and intersections.
• there’s a couple little design secrets that I think are cool, but I’m not giving away yet… I will post again once I have a bit more work done on it.
❤️
I tried to design the front steering to be one of those cyber looking horizontal arms, but I don’t want to experiment TOO MUCH if you know that I mean? Is it ruined if it’s just a low angle regular bike fork connection? Won’t be as low as it looks in the sketch, I’m using a dual pinion corner.
I have almost all of the parts: seat, motor, cameras, actuator, etc… and designing the frame now. I hope this post isn’t too early .. I’m just excited to build it and wanted to share my plans.
I’m not trying to make it exactly like Keneda’s bike, but as with a lot of cyberpunk cycles, it’s clearly a big influence.
It’s not clear from the design, but there will be a rib going along The entire side, just at the bottom of the seat, and the front will have a side panels covering the legs, but I am still working on what those shapes will be right now on the full size mock up, i wanted to see where my legs wanted to go naturally, before I tried putting a cover there.
What do you think?
Is there a feature I’m forgetting?
If I make two, does anyone want one? XD
Maybe we can form a clown gang together? 😂😂😂

I don’t know who you are or how you’re gonna do this, but for some reason I totally believe in you. I am eager to see the final build…
