Valve has SteamOS for pc’s not just the steamdeck and its linux based. Its based on ubuntu tho but still works great! Just needs more driver support is all.

I would love to switch to Linux, but… man, I don’t think it’s ready for everyday use with regular people. I don’t, EVER, want to see the terminal. Neither does your mother, boss, grandparents, or coworkers. Windows is the number one because, as cringe as it sounds, it just works.

If they don’t, after Windows 11 hits the end of it’s life or if it becomes too annoying to deal with, I’ll just switch to Fedora, Nobara or Arch (more recommendations always welcome)

I bought a copy/key off the internet for Windows 10 LTSC 2021 that is supported through Jan 2027.
I HATE Windows 11 and I have no doubt Microsoft will jack up Windows 12 even worse. It will be a hard forced MS Account, Edge, Bing, AI, Widget forced, Hollywood news, ad infested POS.
I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wish games would run just at good on Linux. I use my PC as a gaming console and do all other “computing” on Mac’s.
