A lot of people mistakenly believe “The Last City” to be Cyberpunk, but that is far from true. In reality, the city is much like those of today, except there are a few differences.
– The wall for keeping out the Flare virus
– Mainly electric cars (hardly any gas), but the cars basically look similar to the ones today
– Mostly cooler LED lights, creating a blue hue
– High surveillance and police presence, preventing most crime from occurring within the city walls
In fact, I’d go so far as to calling it a “utopia” within the walls themselves, as far as safety is concerned. I’m not sure about pay, but I believe that everyone in the city has a job and home; there are no homeless.
Obviously this is far from the nature of Cyberpunk 2077’s world, and most other Cyberpunk worlds.
