It’s got an 11 year lower end old cpu, a hard drive. So it won’t be doing much gaming outside of browser games and among us.

If you look on ebay you’ll be able to find better for the money.

If you do want that, you’d need to get an ssd, extra ram and a low end gpu as it probably will even struggle with 1080p YouTube videos

  2. EducationalCamel1043

do not buy. like $20. good for only youtube, netflix and school work.

  3. DifficultyVarious458

Yea it’s very old PC probably out of someone storage. It will be very slow also likely won’t run latest applications well. Don’t even think about gaming.

  4. meatygonzalez

Super old, won’t run anything is the simple version.

A very good computer will save your child from playing games and watching videos, and he will also be able to brag at school that he has a “retro” computer at home. An excellent monitor with a stereo effect will allow your child to sharpen his vision, and a noisy body will train his hearing. If you’re lucky, the heat of the old power supply will allow you to get a large sum from the insurance company.

(Actually no, it looks a lot like computers are being recycled and someone probably pulled it out of the trash.)

  6. eestionreddit

not of any value if the intent is video games

  7. It will struggle to load youtube, you won’t be opening any game made after 2008

    Tl.dr: avoid

  8. bigpapijugg

This has less gaming potential than a smartphone from several years ago

What is your budget and in what country? Someone can point you to something a lot more capable.

try to find all parts seperatly if you can you should be able to find an older dell which will probably outperform if the processor (sometimes listed as cpu or maybe other things) follows this pattern (5 and 7 are recommended) Ix 4/6xxx if this fits you should be fine and used monitors are very cheap and sometimes if your lucky even free mouse and keyboard are also easy to find free but if your budget allows for it i would definitly get something new.

    hope this could help

You can find a used Dell optiplex for about the same with much better specs.

Look for at least i5 6th Gen or 7th gen

    8Gb RAM minimum

Ideally a 250gb or larger SSD hard drive but that can be upgraded pretty cheap.

Price should be around $200 sometimes or less

If you don’t know about computers here’s some help:

The computer is only good for using chrome, absolutely nothing else. If that’s all your kid needs to do it’s an OK deal but definitely not the best.

If he/she plays video games DEFINITELY DO NOT get this

    Hope this helped

Dafuq is this shyt. We are in 2023, not in 2003

  14. medskiler

dont if you are in montreal dm me i have something for you

nvm judging by your other posts you are trolling around.. i was actually going to offer you an 8700k with a 1080ti or an alienware laptop but whatever never be nice to people you dont know i guess

  15. leonardob0880

    What’s ypur budget?

Recently I saw YouTube videos with brand new systems.from $450. With much more recent parts (new) that will last at least for 5 more years

  16. e-waste tier stuff that will barely run anything, better stuff gets sent to recycling centres.

  17. Ushastaja_Mest

Mmmm, Biostar motherboard, my favourite thing to torture people

  18. Creeper4wwMann

I have a 15yo laptop with better stuff than that

  19. You can get like 10 times better PC for that money..

That is pure junk that should be given away for free and not sold for fucking 150 dollars…

As the top comment said, if you like your kid don’t buy it. Poor dude will suffer to even scroll wikipedia..

The monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers are all worth 15-20$, and that trash can next to it would be MAYBE if you feel generous like 20-30$.

And that’s also waste of money..

  20. Known-Pop-8355

$150? For that old thing from 2010-2012? Not worth it. Could buy a cheap burner laptop from walmart with better specs and performance than that thing.

  21. This is something we would throw in the dumpster at my IT shop

  22. bigred1978

    I stopped at i3…

    Walk away.

E-waste to the bin it goes.

  23. Pissinurcoolaid

Just get your kid a iPad and tell him to be greatful.

  24. oo7demonkiller

you wouldn’t even be good for basic web browsing on that. a cheap tablet for the same price has better internals and features. that pc isn’t worth 50$. for something halfway decent, you’re looking at 400 to 600 minimum.

  25. hellothisismadlad

Tf you talking about buying this for your kid. You’re legit evil just thinking about this one lmao.

  26. Honestly, they should be paying YOU to take that trash. It literally isn’t worth the metal inside it.

  27. Idk I think OP is a bot. Past posts show that they’re doing alevels and now they have a kid. Not suuuper unlikely but still Sus.

  28. Sylpheria

    The whole set is obsolete.

You can get a smartphone that can emulate old games better than that pc can for the same price.

  29. Stevo115

That piece of garbage will lag on 60 fps youtube videos. AVOID.

  30. Imgrapecrushed

I sold a pc with an i5-9400 and a Gtx 1660 for $200 cash locally. That pc could run any game at low settings 144fps, this one isn’t even gonna browse Facebook efficiently lol

  31. Fresh_Shell4543

Forget gaming, I have my doubts on if this will run smoothly for school

  32. lightcaptainguy3364

This is E waste material OP, do not buy it, It will struggle to even run youtube and basic stuff

  33. bubblesort33

For some schoolwork it’s fine. Maybe playing Minecraft? That and 15 year old games

  34. Luffy9856

If you want the games to run smoothly, the barrier starts at about 500€ for new Pc’s
I dont really know about used ones, but for 150€ you wont get anything

  35. Due_Tart_2494

If you want it for school or something sure, but if the kid wants to play games and your not in the budget of like 800-1000$ then just get a console

  36. IrishRook

It’s a basic and very old office e PC meant for light office use. Only very, very old games will run on it. People say Minecraft but even with that it will be slow with only 4gb ram.

  37. Tapelessbus2122

Don’t touch that thing, it probably won’t even run anything made after 2010, just get a half decent one.

  38. LuckyInstance

Hey! I recently upgraded my PC, I had a GTX 950, 8gb ram, and I believe an older gen intel i5 (can’t remember the model). I’ll literally dust it off and give it to your son/daughter if you pay for the shipping. I’ll throw in the Samsung 1080p monitor as well.
