Who would be the last man standing in free for all fight among all five? Goro, Reed, Smasher, Blackhand or Martinez?

David thinks he can sit with the adults lmao

Now for real, Takemura without his cyberware and Reed are not up there

The fight is basically Smasher vs Blackhand

  2. MorenaLedovec

Blackhand is Pondsmiths Character pretty much, he kinda broken

  3. SaviorOfNirn

Blackhand and Smasher are the only candidates here.

Mr Blue Eyes, if blue eyes happens to be using Blackhands body as nome theorys suggest then there is no contest, but really, Mr Blue Eyes alone seems like an easy winner

  5. What’s David even doing here lmao.

But assuming they’re all in their primes :
    – Takemura was Saburo’s bodyguard and Oda’s master so he should have been pretty strong.
    – Reed was stated in game’s log to be in the leagues of Blackhand during his prime.
    – We know what Smasher is capable of.
    – Blackhand aka the solo of legend was the only one to face Smasher and come out on top.

I’d give it to Blackhand but again, assuming they’re all in their prime, it won’t be that easy.

  6. If they are smart they would remove Smasher first. His AOE would be deadly to all of them. I see Goro, Reed and Blackhand on similar levels. Reed is more of a spy than a soldier so I see it coming down to Goro vs Blackhand. Lore puts Blackhand as the best, and Goro is maybe better than Oda. So I’ll go with Blackhand wins.

    – I don’t see David doing much to these pros. I’m assuming they’ve dealt with people with Sandys and that is all David brings to this fight.

Assuming a scenario where they can cooperate it has to be Morgan Blackhand, since the four would likely start with Smasher to up their chances of getting out alive, and the other 3 has no chance against the Blackhand.

Assuming they can’t cooperate, I would say Smasher has a chance to outmatch Morgan. I think Goro and Reed could potentially target Blackhand first to avoid attracting Smasher’s attention on them in the first place (maybe take a stealth approach and possibly attack him later when he’s worn down from fighting). Likely more pressure for Blackhand, not an ideal scenario. As for why others wouldn’t hurt Smasher once Morgan is out of the picture – Goro would likely rely on speed and would end up being countered by Smasher who has the same, if not a better Sandy (Arasaka gives him the best of the best, including experimental implants, Goro could be a generation back), Reed seems to only stand a chance against Martinez due to his combat experience, and David… Well, he couldn’t do it with a well-balanced crew (a solid runner, borged out David as a solo, and a few distractions from Smasher’s perspective) and couldn’t seriously injure Smasher.

Idk, it’s a tough question, but I doubt anyone except for Smasher and Blackhand would really have a chance.

David, even with stolen prototype tech or whatever gets absolutely bodied by Smasher. Honestly, pretty sure Smasher clears most everyone listed. No idea who the 4th dude is.

  9. Cognoscere007

We don’t even know what Reed’s cyberware and abilities are when it comes down to it. Dude uses a silenced tech pistol, he’s not a brawler.

    Assuming at their prime:

Reed and Takemura aren’t heavies. Smasher would slay them all, David and Smasher would fight it out, Smasher would win, Blackhand would appear out of the shadows and cut off Smasher’s head then take it to whoever hired him (Militech).

  11. ZeroBrutus

This could go anyway. Martinez is the least likely, and in paper Smasher the most, but in a free for all that all flies out the window. If the other 4 are smart they team up to eliminate smasher first and then it’ll depend on how people are doing once that’s done.

  12. manofhonor64

Brain tells me smasher, heart tells me David

  13. Emergency-Gear-4773

My money is on Smasher from what I know about the lore. The game dose not do him justice.

  14. Crimson_The_King

I know 3 things about blackhand and their all about how fucking OB he is so … Him I guess.

  15. Smasher, Takemura and Blackhand all have a chance

  16. OfficalNotMySalad

Goro with prep time could take them all

Let’s be honest: the answer is Smasher. He’s known as Night City’s boogeyman for a reason.

Everyone else, as chromed up as they are, doesn’t come close to Smasher, the only organic thing left is his damn brain. The rest is top of the line military grade hardware.

…All the more reason I feel like he deserved to be a much more challenging final boss for V. If you’re gonna let us beat Smasher, he should be a fight where you walk away beaten and broken, hanging on by a thread after flatlining the legend himself.

EDIT: Blackhand, maybe. But if we’re talking about Blackhand in his prime vs Smasher in his Prime, Smasher’s gonna have a serious tech advantage with all his newer hardware, even if it’s a young in his prime Blackhand, I still think he’d be fairly outclassed. It wouldn’t be a one sided curbstomp, but I still see Smasher coming out on top.

Please give us Blackhand in Cyberpunk Orion

  19. Critical_Vegetable96

If we’re assuming Takemura when he’s still at his full strength and with all of his cyberware active it’s gotta’ be Takemura. He’s so powerful that Saburo chose him as his bodyguard over Smasher and Smasher is known for being insanely powerful which implies Takemura is even more powerful.

  20. RobTheCroat

Reed lost to a handful of Arasaka jobbers so he’s out. David canonically got obliterated in his prime by Smasher. Takemura with peak chrome is strong but don’t think he would be able to keep up with the heavies. It’s pretty much prime Smasher vs prime Blackhand and I think Morgan takes it

  21. astronomymatt

Most likely Smasher, particularly if he’s fully borg’d. Blackhand would have a good chance against smasher though.

Takemura (without his Cyberware anyway), David and Reed would be mincemeat very quickly. I think David would last better than Reed and Takemura if he’s fully tricked out with Cyberwear like he is near the end of ER but he’s still no match for Smasher or Blackhand.

  22. No_Range2

Smasher because he’s supposedly a construct he has to be in his late 90’s ..kill him and he’ll probably pop up into a another Borg costume

  23. SilentReavus

…Did you finish edgerunners, guy? David could barely hold his own against Smasher with the most advanced piece of cyberware ever made.

  24. Mauisurfslayer

Comes down to Blackhand vs Adam just like in lore, do the inconclusive evidence of who won their showdown i will say it’s probably 40-60 with the odds in favor of Blackhand, I would say the runners up would be Reed and Takemura.

  25. Turbulent-Conflict53

It’s certainly not David since >!We know from the anime that he loses to Smasher.!<

I’d say environment plays a role. Open field with no room to be tactical about it, I give it to Smasher.

In a building or city, I give it to Blackhand, although with luck I can see Takemura or Reed having a shot too.

  26. brociousferocious77

Blackhand would be too clever for those chromed up gonks, and would probably set off some kind of powerful EMP hidden device right at the outset and then finish them off at his leisure while they’re convulsing on the ground.
