That is how I stress test For RAM/Memory Controller stability when running Y-cruncher.
Newer Y-cruncher releases have VT3, which is heavier than VST, although stresses slightly differently.
On your version, imo, VST is really the one that seems to be the most unstable for OCing. The other tests have some merit in that they are other workloads to stress, but usually from my experience VST is the one that finds errors the fastest and most reliably.
