What I love more than the tattoo itself are the reactios I get from it. People are either the chill San Diego types that understand the neck is not a flat surface and pulling this off is still alright, or the super anal soccer moms that don’t know how a tattoo works, thinking you’ll land Michelangelo when all you want is something simple. I went from standard tats, to flashy, to straight up lifelike portraits and even my *”shittiest”* tattoo brings me back to a specific moment, and more importantly feeling in time

If you’re happy with it then you’re happy with it. But you’ve made a fatal mistake – went to the internet for validation.
All that matters is that you wanted it and got it choom, even if you expected people to be thrilled about it, sometimes something personal can just be personal
I would try to get that covered or re-done by a better artist. The shading… Line work, small tattoos are difficult but that’s why it’s important to go to someone good. Great idea, really bad work by the artist.

Execution aside, I like the idea. I always like tattoos that reference an IP more when they’re something subtle like this. Like you have to know to know, yknow?
This will almost certainly be one of those life choices you’ll be most proud of when you’re older.
You get what you paid for. If your happy with it is all that matters. My thing with tats is because of it being permanent I would have to make sure I get it done the best way possible. If that paying more or traveling for it so be it. But yeah I don’t particularly think it looks good, looks flat and more like a sticker. Needed alittle more detail for it to pop and shading for the chrome. Bad idea to post on here because people with be brutally honest and make you feel bad for something you might’ve liked

No idea why so many people are shitting on the tattoo, I literally don’t see anything wrong with it. Even the detailing is great for such a small tattoo, I think it looks sick.
It looks ok, I would get it touched up by a different artist though. Ignore the people saying you have to get it covered up lol.
