I honestly can’t believe that this was their official response to a ticket I put in to try to turn off the achievement pop-ups in game.
Some people here have said to hit shift-f3 and toggle “do not disturb” to turn off notifications, but I haven’t had a chance to play again to see if that works.

This isn’t news. People have been calling out EGS for refusing to make a good platform and instead trying to buy exclusives instead.
If you want customer support you buy else where.

A customer support rep referring to a reddit post isn’t that insane, and I say that having worked as one.
What is wild is that rep directly telling you that they found that information where they did. Good customer support is going to at least sound like they found information you couldn’t, as insinuating that they found information you had access to is…not great.

Yeah the sound of these achievements is like you watching some comedy show

Another reminder that Epic bribes it’s way to getting customers. It’s software is leagues behind the competition.

when Epic is blamed for years of being shit (which is correct) but then there is still that xbox launcher, which is even worse.
Gotta be happy when the download and install actually works… or the games themselves

You’re not happy with *this* response? You’re an idiot.
I work in customer service as well…being allowed to recommend unofficial sources? You should be happy, the guy probably googled it once and found it on the Alan Wake subreddit (which you couldn’t do).
If he can’t provide that source, then he would tell you it isn’t possible (officially) and close your ticket. Doesn’t sound better right?

Bro lol, all of us who work in IT turn to all the sources we can find, it’s completely normal

Why are you using epic games store? Plus he helped you with all the resources he has. That’s what matters. But I see your point
