I had two of these in Crossfire in 2008. They are hair dryers. The amount of heat coming off of these cards was insane. I still have the cards, but they have been decommissioned.

That same lady was on my ATi Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition, from the AGP days before PCIe. I loved that card. Single slot, molex connector, played Crysis.
You can play Metal Gear Rising Revengance on that. I played it with an HD 4650 512MB

have a 4370 i use this one, when i have to fix the network on my server… she runs without a cooler (maybe because the controller died and i tried to build a passive one…) so yeah, throw a beer can in the fridge for some time, get it out, before it explodes and put it on the die….
I had that as a backup gpu. It would run eso on custom low settings at 22fps. When I say custom low, I mean I had to go into the ini files and change settings below the lowest setting.

Quick search finds these selling for 100-200 on amazon, you shouldn’t be a crook like those guys trying to scam people.

Amazing cards for a retro pc with xp on it, i was working in a IT store when they were launched, they were flying of the shelfs. And when the X2 version came, it was the shit back then…….they were hot, i must say that right of the bat.
Wow…. I had one of these. Think on my old XPS I bought over a decade ago. So many memories. Finally playing X3 for the first time cause I bought that CD copy from a petrol station on a school trip then had the disc for half a decade before finally getting a pc that can run it.
I’ll say it’s worth never opening it for future value
Don’t sell it yet. Don’t open it either. Keep it in dry storage and don’t touch it. In about 10 more years that thing will be worth SO much money. There’s honestly no telling what it would fetch as of now either!
