It changed a lot but it looks similar on the photo, most of the improvement are in the backend – I finished a room where PC are so its not just dumpster, I moved there all things that creates heat that are not needed near me. Everything is symmetrical – if it looks otherwise its just photo, I measured everything.
UPGRADE? Probably into 8800x3d if it will exist – I play a lot of economy and sim games and 3D cache does wonders in there. I will go for 64GB next time – 32GB is just enough for my work but barely, some modded games also tops it – like Banished.

COOLER: Noctua D15
UPGRADE? I did buy black version back when I did PC to show it off – when next version D15 releases I think I will get it not-painted on next CPU upgrade and sell this one – Noctuas holds great value on second hand market so I will not lose much.

GPU: RTX 3080 – Gigabyte Aorus
UPGRADE? Maybe 5080 when released – GPU is not that important as CPU for my gaming.

CASE: Fractal Design Define R6
UPGRADE? I don’t think so – its perfect for my setup, maybe I will upgrade fans on next CPU upgrade cycle – phanteks T30 looks cool. Do you guys know some utilitarian case that would improve something?
CASE addon: Sonoff 4Ch ZigBee – I hotwire PC buttons into it so I enable and reset PC using zigbee (from phone or wall button near office entry)

PSU: Seasonic Prime Ultra 850W
UPGRADE? Only if ATX12VO hits consumer market and it will give noticeable IDLE power saving.

Monitor: OG Samsung G9 (not a neo version), some cheap 24” as secondary (I just wanted 1000R to fit)
UPGRADE? I’m getting 57” version ASAP

Mouse: Logitech Superlight G Pro X
UPGRADE? I’m getting v2 with usb-c version soon – not because I need upgrade but because I put grip stickers that melted on this unit so it looks hideously now – I cleared it with alcohol so there no markings on it anymore.

Keyboard: Corsair G95
UPGRADE? Nah – I like it, this macro button on the side helps me a lot in some games – macro that spam left click is life saver for EU4

Speaker: Monitor Audio Silver 100 – I did buy all of them used and much smaller 50 version is hard to get used – So I sticked with bigger versions that costed me less then new 50s.
UPGRADE? Just no – probably I will die with them. Maybe two more for atmos some day

AVR: Denon x3500H
UPGRADE? Maybe into some 9ch receiver with better room correction – I would love to see some killer new future for my setup to upgrade – like something that would let me use it with USB input rather then HDMI – I hate HDMI audio on PC so much.

Microphone: Shure beta 58A + DBX 286 and Scarlett Solo
UPGRADE? probably not – I did go with few iterations before this one and I’m happy. But I would upgrade Scarlett for something simpler with TRX input only and no headphones output.
