I took it home and booted it up. It didn’t come with a power cable so I used mine from my PC (Corsair power supply) and it booted right into BIOS. It has a 4970k and dual GTX 960’s in SLI and 2tb sata SSD with no windows install. Can anyone translate what the front writing is(second pic), I assume its mandarin? There is a bit of an odd burning smell in my apartment now so obviously disconnected it and my main pc booted fine after I plugged everything back in so I think it’s fine lol. I think the issue is the CPU AIO pump is busted as the cpu temps were 88C in bios with the fans running. I don’t want to do more with it because of that but honestly the smell could be the neighbors grilling since it’s gotten stronger even long after I’ve unplugged and switched it off. Quite the find either way for $0!

Im now certain the smell is from my neighbors grill btw lol and realized what I thought was an SSD is in fact a HDD.

i’d say, anytime you find a PC, never look into the hdd/ssd. take it out and destroy it.

Just wipe it, install Linux, and turn into a networked emulator. It’s what I’m doing with my old rig.
