Are you seriously memeing about Criminality in cyberpunk using a meme about a criminal who was mentally ill and is equiv to a cyberpyscho ingame?

My dude, WE are super criminals.

that moment when the FIA realises a random dude from night city killed all their agents over a random red haired french lady…

I understand they weren’t good people, I just didnt like the cold blooded execution, it felt wrong. I dont bat an eye when I massacre half a dozen scavs but the scavs are armed and operating in the open.

I didn’t feel bad about it at all but boy, my V sure tried to convince me that I was. Can’t remember if you have another choice of dialogue but I can’t be assed to reload every time I don’t agree with V or else the game would take me twice as long.

The execution shocked me a bit at first but then I felt stupid afterwards. Like, what was I expecting, that criminals get a fair trial in the world of Cyberpunk?

They were thieves and hackers, not violent mass-murderers.
Now, I doubt they had *no* body count, but this is Cyberpunk. Everyone has blood on their hands, that just life.
They’re so far below our weight class that it’s not even funny. The *only* threat they *ever* posed to us was catching on to our plans and alerting Hansen.
The reason killing them was wrong was because it was entirely gratuitous and *unnecessary.*
They never saw our faces, they never posed a threat to us, and non-lethally disabling them while we use their identities for *all of a mere half-hour* would be absurdly easy with no risk. Just pop a sleeper shard in ’em, and they’re out light a light.
If the no-name Scavs that abducted Sandra Dorset could get access to sleeper shards, seasoned FIA agents probably have them in their toolbox as a matter of course, for interrogations and other black-bag ops *just like this one*.

Someone honked at me when I was crossing the street so I blew their car up with my mind.

Slider was actually the first thing that started turning me against the FIA. Reed’s clear intent to eliminate Slider, and any trail through him, regardless of how little threat it might pose in the future is added to by the elimination of the twins on the same grounds. The implied possibility of a ‘don’t need him anymore, don’t need them anymore, and when we get Songbird back, won’t need you anymore’ line of reasoning isn’t hard to extrapolate.

I don’t really care about the killing, it’s more that when my V asked Reed what the plan was he only confirmed it was a kidnapping, he never said the plan was to kill them. It’s the way that Reed never gives V any information that he unilaterally decides they don’t need to know that bothers me.

I believe the issue with that execution is that it happened so sudden without the Cassel twins directly doing something bad towards us, V.
We are actually the a-hole in Dogtown. Who are we to decide who has the moral high ground? Especially in a world in which one from our world should tread carefully to compare our moral standards to those of Cyberpunk 2077. Heck many of us here would be doing shady dealings in Night City and have no remorse.
We invade Dogtown, kill hundreds of people, kill the leader, wreak havoc because we want to save our own life? That is extremely selfish in a way. How‘s V‘s life more important than that of the others.
Point being is that the Cassel twins would‘ve not died if it was not for us, Songbird, Reed, the FIA.

Never understood why V made this seem like such a big deal. Or this community, really.
