It was powered off but I hit the switch and unplugged it. I took the board out and there’s liquid at the top of the motherboard. I’m getting conflicting information on what to do. Heat or rubbing alcohol. I have no idea which one would help at this point.
Yes, I am a working single mom so I haven’t had time to clean off the dust, please don’t vilify me for that or do, whatever. At this point, I’ll take ridicule as long as it comes with advice.

My apartment is covered in carpet from 1st to second floor. That’s all that needs to be said about the dust.
Do you know what from?
At anyrate the course is more or less the same 99% alcohol(in a spray bottle if you can). Drown where there was anything.
Leave to dry.
Same for GPU.
If the board was not receiving power, or at least the section that got hit. You might be in decent shape. I have seen worse, that still worked. But have also seen worse outcomes from less.
Oh, also, hit with some canned air, prior. As to avoid any dust from flowing and building up.
You’re fucked, bud.
If the board was receiving power and the PC died, then you will probably have to replace the GPU, as long as only the GPU got wet. You might get lucky and be able to dry the GPU off and it works, but you’ll need to make sure it is super dry.
My best advice is to wipe the water/tea off, leave it unplugged and air dry for a few days. If you decide to use rubbing alcohol on it, use the highest percent you can buy. To give you some hope, I went to drain my loop a year ago (it was unplugged) and the drain valve was broke into the open position. Water got everywhere. I gave it 4 days after wiping everything down and it still works to this day. Good luck
I haven’t any advice beyond what others have said but as a ray of hope for you, my Mrs once dumped an entire cappuccino onto her laptop. It seemed fried but I took the whole thing apart and washed the logic board with isopropyl alcohol. Amazingly it booted up and kept on chugging for a few years. So, don’t give up yet. There may be hope still.

My questions have been answered. Thank you to all who actually helped.
My buddies cat pissed all inside his computer and it survived. He cleaned what he could and booted it up a day or so later.
This was maybe a year ago.
You got the answer from everyone but to add to it, now the dust is gonna make it harder.
Keep your PC clean
