You don’t need to change monitors when going to a lower resolution…

I think they are just releasing games before they are ready. This time of the year is considered “The gaming season” so maybe that’s why. I am sure most of these unoptimized games should be optimized within a year. There will be lots of patches coming.

Can’t go back if you never left

(I see higher frames much better than 4k, don’t know how anyone tells the difference honestly)

Stupid question, hope someone sees this:
So I got a 1440p monitor and 1080p scales terribly to it- wish I thought of that before I bought it, just saw that it was $50 more than the 1080p version and went SOLD.

Does 1080p look good on a 4k display or is it still pretty rough?

Now that we have frame generation why bother optimizing your games? – devs probably

  6. Nah I’ll stay at 1440p 144hz and just not play terribly optimized games

  7. You see that’s the thing. They do not even run good in 1080P anymore. Obviously if you have a monster 4k capable GPU, you MAY have smooth 1080p…

I did not buy 2 games this year because of the shitty performance, even though I would love to play them.
