Solid performance but his appearance in “Luther” did things to me idk why man it was such a mid plot but his acting was branded into my memory for nearly a decade now

I found him fairly one note, personally. Going into Phantom Liberty, I was expecting him to be this maverick/rogue spy based on the trailer. Instead he’s a loyal dog after being burned. Very strange character choice.
I didn’t like So Mi either but she at least was a full spectrum CHARACTER.

I wish that he had his typical Londoner accent as Reed. But I love him just the same.
He was very good as Hollywood video game drop in performances go, but he’s not even the best A-lister in this game. I think Idris is obviously better in the Wire and Luther. This was more in the Losers and the Suicide Squad territory, a jaded (ex-)government agent played very well.
