Seriously though, this stereotype hasn’t been true for **years**. Any (decent) gaming laptop has more than enough cooling capacity.

95 degrees is normal for AM5 desktops lol

Sad but true

a) 95°C doesn’t mean it overheats, that’s operating temp. And turbo boost is designed to saturate the thermal and power headroom to gain more performance.
b) Not all gaming laptops are equally shitty.

The fuck is wrong with meme pages, like people don’t do their research or something or make the most stupid claims possible.
In recent years, these temps are fine for laptops. Warner than desktop? sure. But not overheating, it’s within spec of the manufacturer.

Never goes above 80 wdym

Owned a HP Victus over here, just change the thermal putty and paste and that thing could run CS2 at 88C max on CPU, 75-78C on GPU. No cooling pad or AC, just a ceiling fan.
So, today’s gaming laptops should be at least running at temps around 80-85C on stock, unless it is a super budget model.

Well, if you cram high wattage electronics in a small, enclosed box, that’s what happens.
