I gotta play this ending again. Defeating Songbird is way more challenging than fighting off the NUS in the “Betray Reed” endings (which is also fun and adrenaline-pumping) The image of that giant mech spider stomping me out repeatedly will be burned into my head forever lol

Well, if you do the Hanako ending and sign the contract, that’s kind of a horror ending in a more cerebral, space-based way. (It’s not my in-head, personal canon ending—which would be the Aldecado ending (with Judy!) with the additional detail that I write in my own head that V’s problem gets solved in some way, either by someone else’s brilliant idea or by her body just fixing itself as occasionally happens irl with seemingly terminal conditions—but I still really like the setup and detail of the Devil ending…really well done CDPR!)

yes best part of this whole game. finally something that can kill you.
This thing was a beast. Even 20 cool and opti-camo didn’t stop it from immediately pinpointing my location and railing me to death. Definitely took a few tries

What part in the game is this?????

Needs a spoiler tag, but yes

I was so stoked that cdprojektred got to make a small indie horror game!

I hated it. You spend hours and hours building up your v. So you can fight the biggest and baddest bad guys in the game. This is a smasher level fight and all you can do is run. Could have been a 10 minute multi room, level fight.

I don’t play horror games for a reason and I’ll never touch this quest again. I only have two more terminals to reach but I stopped playing. I don’t like how they don’t even hint at the chance for horror.
This whole game is designed around flexibility, you have different ways to approach things and handle quests, but they force you to play stealth horror.
I wouldve felt better fighting two chimeras

you know, i don´t mind scary sections in games, you tend to just wait for the jumpscare, but this shit made me wimp like a little girl, only this and Vampire the Masquerade Bloodline´s Ocean House Hotel have made me actively make a sound
