there is a bug where bad vehicles get times for good vehicles which makes it especially hard to furfill those conditions. there is a mod on pc to fix that until cdpr patches it.

Luckily failing the optional tasks really don’t seem to impact the rewards all that much. I’m mostly in it for the perk shards and components anyway.

maybe im built different but i havent failed a single one of these missions and i did like 10 of them on launch day for 2.0
it definitely felt impossible when i first saw the time and how far away i was, i got one finished at like 6 seconds left lol but managed, i didnt think of it as broken.

Then you gotta “lose or neutralise the pursuers”. There’s a car mod that gives better gear audio and better speed and acceleration.

Sometimes if you go to a previous save, it will change the mission objectives. Went from timed to defeating the enemies

I wish most of these were just car chase type missions rather than most of them being a timed driving challenge. Shooting in a car is amazing but we dont get to do it much.

I did one like this with about .001 second left it was nerve wracking. I’ve only failed one delivery because it kept spawning nomad vehicles no matter how many I destroyed they kept coming and I wasn’t even halfway to the destination when the car blew up.

Here’s a tip get a wanted level before El captain can call you and just drive most of the distance that way you won’t get any of the side objectives too early (even better once you have _that_ implant from PL)

I’m tired of the posts on this subject, are you all really incapable of doing this missions? I can swear to you that I must’ve completed at least 20 of them with no trouble, and only 2 or 3 really being impossible to do in time. If cdpr makes it easier, I feel it will be boring.

One thing i haven’t figured out yet. Are the vehicle gigs like normal gigs, And they have a set spawn area? Or are they randomly generated? I’ve only ever found the first one
