I hope it just stood in a smokers home. If it’s not cigarette smoke you smell, you might have overpaid.

That’s nice although you might need to clean up the fans in your rig.

OP, do you know where you are posting? It is either overpaid or a scam. The only in between is that you could get the same chapter if you DYU.

Getting the smoke smell out of… anything is pretty challenging. Any and all fans/surfaces need to be wiped down good, and I’d recommend washing the CPU cooler and dust filters. If you can disassemble the GPU to give it a thorough cleaning that would be ideal as well. I would probably just replace the PSU, there’s no way you’re getting that clean. (And based on the red power connectors it’s probably on the older side anyways)

I would disassemble it and give it a proper cleaning with isopropyl alcohol

I would also recommend checking the power supply. Most better units around that capacity are either 750 or 850W. 800 is relatively uncommon and mostly used for low-end ones. There’s a [Tier List](https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/) where you can see how well your psu stacks up against others

wash everthing then throw it in a bin with an ozone generator and close it. leave it in a room or closet and avoid the area. Not supposed to breath that stuff. not a bad deal

If it works fine, it’s a steal!
