You’re not seriously telling me a self-driving AI cab with combat mode is still just a skin for the starter car.

  1. I agree but that is not your starter car reskinned.

The best we can do is you sit on the roof and control the car yourself.

Car combat was the golden opportunity to really implement combat mode from Excelsior, and it was missed. Like, the Cortes V500 is definitely on the worse side of all the cars, and the Delamain is definitely a reskin, nothing more. Giving him a weapon (hell even a machine gun AND missile launcher) and a whole lot more armor would have been awesome and a real reason to pick it sometimds

one of the few cars in game that canonically had built in weapons, wasn’t given built in weapons in the one update that added built in weapons to vehicles. the fuck???

Might be a bit OP, OP. but if the. Autonomous weapons only works defensively that might balance it out a bit.

To be fair, if you chose to destroy Delamain’s core and free the AI, it’s implied that you’re teaching your Delamain to drive. Kinda wonky for the other choices though.

I have a better dumb complaint. I think Delamain’s cars should look more luxurious. Instead of looking like V’s car with a cabbie decal. They talk about how fancy and special Delamain’s service is, and the car looks like an average cab car. But yeah, dumb complaint is dumb. Would be cool if we could driver from the passengers seat. Or even just be able to use Delamain as a cab service.

I still think Del should be auto piloted to this day ever since I first finished the mission at launch. What a shame they didn’t make it happen.

It should serve as the “fast travel” method if they won’t let us use the trains.

  10. You should be able to access the fast travel menu from a passenger seat.
