I tested Buildzoid’s timings (https://www.patreon.com/posts/low-effort-rank-77403831) with my kit, the system booted fine, but when I tested it with Memtest86, I got 8 errors a few minutes into the test. I stopped it after that so I’m not sure if more errors would have popped up later on. The kit runs just fine with EXPO with no errors at all after multiple passes.

Can the timings be causing the errors or is it bad RAM? (I already replaced it once as the last one was causing me lots of issues, but this one seems fine)

Any suggestions on what I could do to get rid of the errors? I was thinking to set the SoC voltage to auto, which would probably be 1.3V. Will this help, or are there other values that I could try and change?

The timings are based on luck. You roll the silicon die on everything you buy.

You either need to up the voltage or lower timings.

Everyone’s timings are unique to those dimms.
