I recently invested in a Ryzen 7 5700X processor, and I have only one goal, which is to get the most out of my processor.
There is only one thing that I can be very picky about, that is, if the temperatures are not very good. A long time ago, I heard a lot about the term undervoltage, and I searched for it even now, through which I arrived at the expression PBO.
I found a beginner tutorial on how to get started..
I started Curve Optimiser under Ryzen Master by turning on PBO and leaving everything on AUTO. The result was -30 for each of cores.
What I noticed was that the processor cooled down very nicely. Even after entering the BIOS, I gained 8°C. And under Windows, the fan finally doesn’t come on because the processor works a little better.
I started running CoreCycler to see if there was anything problem. It has been running for 1 hour with 100 iteration (YCRUNCHER).
What can I do? Now I feel a little lost. By giving more cocoa to the CPU, it will generate more heat. It’s not worth it to me…
Currently under Ryzen Master I see the following values:
PPT: 76W
TDC: 60A
EDC: 90A
