Ah yes, The RTX 4090 a great 1080p card

  1. It can’t be that badly optimized, come on.

The game for whatever reason performs wildly different on similar systems. I have a 3060Ti and get average 50-70 FPS but dips down to 30 or so in cities

A weekend of dumb shiposting or something?

4090 in cities does 100+ FPS in 4k. The only problematic stuff is Ultra shadows for whatever reason (more like a bug). High shadows and everything else in Ultra – here you go.

Bro, didn’t you hear? We’re shitting on Spider-Man 2 now, shitting on Starfield is sooo two weeks ago.

Also, RTX 3080 checking in, running the game on Ultra with no problems.

I5 13600k and 3070ti both oc to hells heart running it at 3440×1440 w/80-100 fps and no higher v than 70°c.

This post was made by someone who doesn’t own a 4090.

I played at native 1080p 60fps on a 5700xt, albeit with some drops in cities (mostly just New Atlantis) and big fights.
I dont see how a 4090 cant play this game well at higher res. Surely, it can handle 1440p60 at least. Or this game just has wonky problems specifically on higher end hardware.

I know the performance is not good but the DLSS Frame Generation mod on NexusMods by Luke really helped for me. I have a 4080 laptop where I was getting 65 fps at 1440p in the most taxing area of the game (New Atlantis near MAST tower and Akila City entrance at day time) with FSR at 75 percent. With Frame Gen, that bumped to 110 fps in the same taxing area. Rest of the time, it stays at a stable 120 fps. With CPU undervolted, GPU overclocked and fans at max, I can get even 10 percent more performance. Maybe try these out if you haven’t already. If I can get this out of a laptop, it surely is possible.

I knew Starfield was going to flop before it even came out.

  10. HyperMazino

The 4090 got no problems with Starfield. It’s strong enough that even a terribly optimized game runs smoothly.

  11. StingingGamer

This post was clearly made by someone who doesn’t have a 4090, the game runs perfect at high and 1440p / 4k :p

  12. nomoneyfome

4090 hear with dlss mod easy 110 to 120

What are you guys on I get like 75 fps on high settings with my 6750xt

    Edit: in 1440p

  14. AdonisGaming93

    4070 here. Stable 60fps 1440p starfield all high/ultra settings…

  15. Just another shitty optimised game. No need to take it as a benchmark.

  16. dak-a-lak

Average 120 fps on ultra 1080p with a 7800 XT and 7700x cpu. Usually 150+, drops to 75-100 in settlements. Runs cool, CPU max 70, GPU max 60.

  17. Catnip113

I have a 3060 ti and i run starfield at max setting. the lowest i get is 50 fps 144hz and I average around 90-110.

  18. Fuck-MDD

Is it weird I feel like a 4090 isnt a waste of money, but starfield is?

  19. fishy3021

Starfield dosent even look good the worst looking trees I ever seen and no DLSS, very unoptimized you can’t compare.

  20. DADDYPumpPOP

I feel like my 3060ti is barely good enough for 1080p 60hz lately.

  21. MakeshiftRocketship

My 3080ti has no issues running native 4K ultra settings. I average 60fps highs of 130 lows of 45 but never experience shutters or anything

  22. United-Tension-5578

Not even a quantum graphics card would fix shit coding.

  23. DropDeadGaming

This person hasn’t yet seen Alan Wake 2 requirements.

  24. Me sitting over here in the corner with my 3080 Ti believing I bought a premium GPU.
