Either that or it seriously wants you to play Space Invaders.

Look like its dead but you can try DDU uninstal driver and reinstal. With the error you had its not the cable its hardware/software related 100%. Pretty sure gpu is dead.

Throw it in the oven before buying a new one. Look up the oven tricks. Apparently works to extend life a lot.

Either your gpu is dying or aliens are trying to communicate with you.

  5. What are your temps/Is the fan still working?

Sorry to say that’s never a good sign.

Looks like your VRAM is going bad.

If absolutely necessary you might be able to squeeze out some extra life by underclocking the VRAM and hope it regains stability that way, but Id get a new GPU ASAP.

check if cable and monitor are working properly before you buy a new gpu

  8. Something similar happened to mine. It’s dying. It will probably stay barely alive for quite a while, but it won’t be enjoyable.

Since it is most likely dead, I suggest reseating it in the slot. Also make sure there’s no dust in the fans. This could also be an overheating situation. Be careful, but that’s about all else I can think of before you place an order to replace it.

it literally says “XD” go figure 😂

Dying is probably most accurate. Does using a different card rectify the issue? Have you tried using DDU in safe mode to fully uninstall the drivers?

At first glance it almost looks like some hieroglyphs lol

How was the PC maintained? What were temperatures looking like on average? 4 years seems rather soon for things like this to start. I have 7 year old 1060s still trucking along and I know my HD 6970 still works if I plug it in.

Classic RTX 2080 vram failure, it was widespread issue at launch, memory chips ran so hot that they failed in a week or two. Really does look like space invaders, Google rtx 2080 space invaders for more info if interested.
